Sweet moments with my Boys...

Just some sweet little momemts I have had with my boys the last couple of weeks.

Carter's first night to sleep at home in his bed.

First day of being a Mom of two and Mav was actually eating the food I gave him. A Miracle.
Just being sweet and sleeping.
Love my boys!

Very direct stare. Zoolander?!

My Sleeping Angel. This is how he likes to sleep. On his side.

Funny moment...I was breast feeding Carter and Mav was drinking his cup of milk before bed and so he came up on my bed and laid on my lap with his milk. So I had two boys drinking milk on me. Haha. =)

Awake time @ 1:30 am? Ok.

Mavrick was being so cute. For some reason he wanted to sit on out chair like this and was just jabbering away. It was a sweet moment for me and him. After I fed Carter I went and sat by him on the floor and rubbed his back and tried to keep up the conversation with him. It was pretty funny.
Gangster Pose

A Day at the Park with our friend Annabelle. =)
Aunt Kami was playing around and doing a photo shoot which obviously turned out crappy! Haha. =)

After she took a few pictures of Carter, Mav wanted her to take some of him so he laid down kinda how Carter was and started laughing. It was hilarious! =)
This boy has a natural mohawk! I don't even have to brush it that way after a shower.
My Boys! Mav being sweet and Carter looking scared...

So around 8:30 on Sunday mornings it seems like my entire family ends up in my bed. Mav will wake up around 7 and come climb into bed with us, which is about when Carter wants to eat so he ends up laying in the bed beside us too. I caught them touching each other. It was so sweet. =)
Big yawn...
I was taking a picture of Carter and Mavrick, once again wanted one taken of him...so he jumped in front.

This is Mavrick's "Oh Toodles!!" face when he watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I finally got it on camera.

And this little face is what makes it so hard to not let him sleep on my chest for EVERY nap. Look at those lips! =)
We love our little boys so much and are having a lot of fun with them. I wish I had a camera on me for every special LITTLE moment and I try but its hard. But I love the ones that I can catch. The last couple of weeks have been great. No Post-pardem or depression of any kind which has been awesome. I have been loving this "stay at home Mom of Two" way more than I thought I would.

Here's to more sweet little moments with my boys. =)

Love,
One Lucky Mom

Memorial Day Weekend 2012

Memorial Weekend has always been a big deal in my family. We always go up to the lake. So this year was no different. We packed up our truck and our little family and headed up to the lake which is about 1.5 hours away. Not too terrible of a drive. On the way up there we stopped at a little Trade Days/Farmers Market and let Mavrick ride his first pony. =) He didn't really know what to think of it once he got on. But I figure it was a good $5 well spent for some cute pictures.

We finally made it to the lake. And this time we rented some cabins and a trailer. It was so nice to have beds, AC, a bathroom, and a place for the babies (and pregnant women) to nap. We unloaded and then headed down to the lake. Here are some pictures of us getting use to the water!
It was really nice to have everyone there. We were only missing my sister Kami and Caleb who ended up having to work this weekend but all the nieces & nephews were there which made it really fun. They also had a perfect little kid area with slides, sand area and shallow water that was roped off.
It didn't take Mavrick long before he got use to the water, which is good and bad! Once he is use to it after 10 min he is fearless which means we have to watch him like a hawk and keep floaties on him at all times. He kept swallowing the water! It was disgusting.

Proof that I swam and was at the lake too.
 I love this picture!

Mavrick was being a sissy about being on the pier with Uncle Jeremy.

So...Ryan is the proud new owner of a Kayak. Jeremy got one for graduation and that is all he has been talking about since then is getting a Kayak. He loves it and went out early in the mornings on the lake to fish while we were there. Happy EARLY Birthday & Father's Day Ryan! =)

We all tried it out and even had some relays. I even enjoyed using it. I despise canoes but Kayak's are a lot smoother on the water. Here are some pictures of all of us having fun with the Kayak. =) Emma and Mavrick eating some breakfast and being cute together.
Another SUPER nice conveniece was that my Dad brought his golf-cart up for the weekend. I am usually a "lets walk" kind of a girl but not in Texas heat and when I am 6 months pregnant so it was very nice to have that. The babies LOVE riding on it too so it was a god distraction for them when we couldn't go swimming in the lake. I have no clue why these two were BOTH picking their noses right when we took the picture. Haha. =) Goobers.

We also got to go down the road to a blueberry farm and pick some blueberries. They were SO good! We definitly want some plants in the future. These were $1.25 a pound! The store rip you off so bad it angers me. AND they are not as good. So we ended up freezing a ton and will probably go back in the next week or so to get some more.
It was a fun and relaxing weekend away from home and lives stresses. We all got in some good vitamin D in too. Thank heavens. I was starting to glow and Ryan had the biggest farmers tan I have ever seen! =)

Sincerely,

The LeBaron Family

Visit from our family in Utah...

Lots of updating to do. But I am lacking all my family Christmas pictures and so I am jumping ahead to the visit from Ryan's Family until I can get a hold of them.
We really enjoyed having them here. It was fun to have them in our home and to have them see us in our element. Mavrick of course was the center of attention the whole time but we did manage to do some fun things.

Wednesday: Ryan's Mom, Dad, Tacy, Jeffrey & Corrin all arrived around 5-6. We were frantically getting everything cleaned cause we had just gotten back from our family reunion that day too. We all hung out at the house that night and Ryan went and got them some southern catfish while I made some Southern Okra which is one of our favorite things to eat. Everyone was pretty tired so we ended the evening about 9 anyway. Russel, Micaela, and Jessica all flew in late that night.

Thursday: We all met up for "breakfast" around 10:00 in the morning. They stayed at Nellies Cottage which was just down the road that a member rents out for scrapbook retreats and other things. So it ended up being a good deal. We were happy to see everyone but Mavrick was being a little moody that morning. It happens. We just had to keep telling everyone that it wasn't personal he really just likes to let everyone know around him when he is not happy. Haha. =)
We spent the rest of the day pretty much doing nothing, which was nice for a change,  and playing bocci ball in our yard, shooting guns in the backyard, and playing frisbee. Later that evening we went to go see Mission Impossible 3. I didn't LOVE it but I think everyone else enjoyed it. =) After that everyone pretty much went to bed. Ryan and I are night owls so we were like, "What?!" But we understood that they were tired. When you are a parent you learn to go to bed at 12 and get up at 6 and your body just gets use to it.

Friday: This was our fun day. A few of them went fishing early in the morning and caught nothing! Haha. =) oh well. Better luck next time they come down. Then we all got dressed and headed out to Galveston. It was beautiful on the way there. Such a perfect day. We rode the ferry and that is always Mavrick's favorite part of the trip. After that we headed to go buy Mav some shoes cause we forgot his, walked on the beach...which was beautiful, and then headed to Moody Gardens to go to the Aquarium Pyramid. It was worth every bit to see Mavrick's excitement. Its moments like that, that make every bit of hassel and trip headaches worth it. =) He was running from animal to animal, from exhibit to exhibit! The seals and the penguins were his favorite. He was hilarious. My camera died after the Ferry so I didn't get any more pictures. =(

I wish I had a better picture of this one. It shows how excited he was.I love it. =)

Everyone thought the Ferry was pretty cool. The seagulls were going nuts and a little to close to everyone head for comfort. Haha. =) We also saw some Dolphins when we were crossing on the Ferry.

Feeding the birds with Daddy.

Notice how everyone is ducking...haha. =)

Saturday: It was our last full day with everyone and New Years Eve.  We spent the day hanging out around the house, making some party decorations, and appetizers. Later that night we went over to my Mom and Dad's to make eggrolls and celebrate New Years with them. Everyone was pretty tired the whole night but Mavrick kept us entertained. We also attempted to make Brazillian Lemonade...ugh! It didn't turn out to well.

Jessica and Mavrick having quality time.

Eggroll Making!

No party is complete without decorations. =)

Probably shouldn't have let him do this but those balloons kept him entertained for hours! And yes he stayed up till After 12 on New Years.

It was so much fun to have everyone there. We were missing Brittany, Devin, and Liam (Little Willy is what Ryan likes to call him). I hope next Christmas we can all be together in Utah but we will see. We will have some new additions to the family by then. ;)
