Sweet moments with my Boys...

Just some sweet little momemts I have had with my boys the last couple of weeks.

Carter's first night to sleep at home in his bed.

First day of being a Mom of two and Mav was actually eating the food I gave him. A Miracle.
Just being sweet and sleeping.
Love my boys!

Very direct stare. Zoolander?!

My Sleeping Angel. This is how he likes to sleep. On his side.

Funny moment...I was breast feeding Carter and Mav was drinking his cup of milk before bed and so he came up on my bed and laid on my lap with his milk. So I had two boys drinking milk on me. Haha. =)

Awake time @ 1:30 am? Ok.

Mavrick was being so cute. For some reason he wanted to sit on out chair like this and was just jabbering away. It was a sweet moment for me and him. After I fed Carter I went and sat by him on the floor and rubbed his back and tried to keep up the conversation with him. It was pretty funny.
Gangster Pose

A Day at the Park with our friend Annabelle. =)
Aunt Kami was playing around and doing a photo shoot which obviously turned out crappy! Haha. =)

After she took a few pictures of Carter, Mav wanted her to take some of him so he laid down kinda how Carter was and started laughing. It was hilarious! =)
This boy has a natural mohawk! I don't even have to brush it that way after a shower.
My Boys! Mav being sweet and Carter looking scared...

So around 8:30 on Sunday mornings it seems like my entire family ends up in my bed. Mav will wake up around 7 and come climb into bed with us, which is about when Carter wants to eat so he ends up laying in the bed beside us too. I caught them touching each other. It was so sweet. =)
Big yawn...
I was taking a picture of Carter and Mavrick, once again wanted one taken of him...so he jumped in front.

This is Mavrick's "Oh Toodles!!" face when he watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I finally got it on camera.

And this little face is what makes it so hard to not let him sleep on my chest for EVERY nap. Look at those lips! =)
We love our little boys so much and are having a lot of fun with them. I wish I had a camera on me for every special LITTLE moment and I try but its hard. But I love the ones that I can catch. The last couple of weeks have been great. No Post-pardem or depression of any kind which has been awesome. I have been loving this "stay at home Mom of Two" way more than I thought I would.

Here's to more sweet little moments with my boys. =)

Love,
One Lucky Mom

Utah Trip & Jessica's Wedding

So 16 days after Carter was born I took on the impossible and traveled alone with Mav (2 years old) and Carter (16 days old) on a plane to Utah for my Sister-in-Law, Jessica's Wedding. Ryan couldn't miss school so he followed up on Friday but me and the boys left on Wednesday. They allowed Kami to come back with me and help until we got on the plane. Mav fell asleep the whole way but before take off and boarding the plane he was freaking out!!! Kami had battle scars by the time she left the airport! Haha! =) I was so grateful for her help. Carter did great on the plane he was just wide awake for 3 hours! He has never been awake that long. We landed in Utah and my in-laws picked us up. It was so good to see everyone and it was there first time to see Carter so I am glad we went. We were pretty busy with wedding stuff the whole time and I was up with Carter during the night so I was pretty exhausted until Ryan got there. I didn't take a whole bunch of pictures either cause I just felt like I was running around like crazy the whole time being a single Mom for a couple of days. The wedding and temple ceremony turned out beautiful. Jessica did a great job with planning everything and looked beautiful and as happy as could be on her wedding day. I still don't know Dane very well since we were there for such a short time and so busy with everything but we will get to spend time with them at Christmas. They are super cute. Jeffrey, Ryan's youngest brother, left on his mission the following Wednesday too. So when I left to go home on Monday morning Ryan's flight did not leave until Monday night. He was able to spend the whole day with his family without us around. Which was really nice bonding time. They went up to the canyon went fishing. It is so beautiful up there this time of year. It makes me miss Utah. Here are the few pictures we did get after the wedding was over. Pretty much just pictures of the canyon and all of sleeping cause we were so tired. Haha. =)
He was making a funny face.

Ryan & Carter

Uncle Jeff and Carter

American Fork Canyon. Isn't it beautiful! Corinn, Jeff, Ruth & Dennis (Ryan's Parents)

The Parentals

Jeff's pathetic little fish. Haha. =) He was apparently super excited about it though.

If he could, he would totally abandon society and do this all day long.

All in all the trip was way worth it. Not sure if I will ever travel that soon after having a baby again but we were glad we were able to be there to spend time with our family.

ME

Carter's First Bath

His first bath was so dramatic! So far both of my boys have hated baths. You would think that they would love baths since it is probably the most like it was in the womb...watery and warm. =)But here are some pictures. ** Pretty sure it is free of any private parts. I think I blotted all those out. =)
All I did was take off his cloths! Gheeze!
Just wanted to show off his little wrinkles and head full of hair! I love it. =)

Poor Baby was all worn out from crying.

The Hospital Stay

Our hospital stay was so awesome. We got to spend some quality time with Carter enjoying all the little things and making note of them...like his head full of hair, or his perfect little ears and beautiful olive skin. Things I didn't really want to forget so I took pictures. Haha.

We also got a couples dinner brought to us by the hospital which was really nice.

Father & Son
Love this face!

I was so swollen from all the fluid they gave me but I tried not to let it hinder the picture taking that Ryan was doing. I am sure I will love having these pictures later...haha.
Us with Son #2
Getting ready to go home was hilarious. Carter screamed bloody murder when we were changing him into clothes to go home. We had nurses check on us a couple times cause they thought something was wrong with the baby. Also when they were wheeling us out they forgot to take off our little alarm tags that Carter and I had on our wrists and so when we got near the elevator the alarms went off throughout the ENTIRE hospital!

All ready to go!
We loved being at that hospital! I hope I am fortunate enough to have all my other babies there too. =)
