Mavrick @ 24 Months

So my little angel will be 2 soon. I can't believe it. In fact...I don't want to talk about it. Lol. =) I get too emotional especially since I am pregnant. He is getting so big WAY too fast!

Anyway...enough of that. My sister-n-law Jessica came into to town to visit and it has seriously been so nice to have her here. She is so good with Mavrick but I will do a post about her visit in a couple days after she leaves I just wanted to put these up so family could see them. She does photography and was nice enough to take my camera and take some pictures for us outside in the yard right after it rained. They turned out PERFECT! Enjoy!! =)

She captured his personality so well in these. =)
Thanks Jess...We love you!

Sincerely,
Two very proud parents (Ryan & Kayla)

We are in growing mode around here...

So Ryan is so proud of our garden. And really...he should be. He has put a lot of effort and time into it and it is starting to pay off. Are plants are getting really big! Here are just a few pictures of our Garden and our new lawn mower. We decided that living on 5+ acres in Southeast Texas, you pretty much have to have one! Its an investment though. We will have it for a long time. (We hope=)

Growing Baby #2:
{Pregnancy at a little over 16 Weeks}

How I am feeling @ 16 Weeks:
I am starting to feel really good. Thank you 2nd Tri-mester!! I am starting to get a lot more energy back which is "Heaven Sent" since I have a very energetic first born. Nausea has settled.

How my body has changed @ 16 weeks:
I had a doctor appointment and I have gained 8 lbs so far and I am measuring a little more than 16 weeks. My belly has officially popped out and now I FEEL pregnant instead of bloated. My belly button is all flat. YAY! So excited for that. (sarcasm implied) Mavrick thinks its funny and tries to play with it so I guess someone is enjoying it. My eyes have gotten WORSE too. I was at a -3.75 and now I am a -4.00. They say sometimes they can change when you are prego but I am sure its just me and my horrible eyesight getting even more horrible. I have started back up at the gym. I was so sick and tired for the last month that going there was just not an option. But since my energy is back I am hitting it hard again.

What I am thinking @ 16 weeks:
I am feeling a little more at ease about this baby coming. I found a really good doctor, FINALLY! He is about 2 hours and 45 min away but no one around here would take me and I got stiffed by the doctor that I had an appointment with for a month and a half! Long story...but my wonderful Sister-n-Law Ashley found me one in College Station which is where her and my brother live. I have anxiety about having a good doctor and it was something I have been praying about since we found out we were pregnant. When I went to see him I had such a good feeling like everything was going to be ok and that this was who I was suppose to use for my Doctor. He is LDS too and such a nice guy. The hospital was so nice, the staff was even more nice. Such a relief. I know what people are thinking..."Um...its almost 3 hours away!? What if you go into labor?!" And I have thought of all of that but Ryan and I just feel like everything will be ok. Ashley and Jeremy's little girl (yes...I am getting another neice!) is due 5 days before mine so what we might do is just have an induction while I am there visiting their little baby. We will see. Its all up in the air but for now everything feels good! I have a very low risk pregnancy, mild symptoms (for now) and this time I will not be taking Castrol Oil to speed things up like last time! Haha. =) As far as Mavrick goes...he has been doing better. Ryan and I have made a vow starting last night that Mavrick will NEVER sleep in our bed again! Haha. So we are going to work really hard on that for the next couple of weeks. May is potty training time! I keep pushing it back but I just don't think our communication level is quite there yet. But he is doing alot better so I think May will be perfect.

Anyway...here are a few pictures of our adorable little "it." It was so much fun to see the ultrasound. The baby was face down in the womb and curled up so we couldn't get amazing pictures. Sorry about the quality. I don't have scanner so I took pictures of the pictures.

 Here is a picture of the face!

 This one he or she was sucking her thumb and rubbing its face. So sweet!

 Head and Arm

 Face down in the womb and you can see the spinal cord.

Not the best picture of me but you can kinda see the belly.

More updates to come. =)

Easter Festivities 2012

So this Easter has been so fun with our little family and having lots of parties. Busy is sometimes not very enjoyable but for some reason Ryan and I really enjoyed this holiday. Maybe it is because we had all of our shopping done, no work, a happy boy (most of the time) and a clean house. Its amazing how that affects my mood. =) Anyway...below are the festivites that started Friday night and ended Sunday night.

{Dying Easter Eggs}
Mavrick loved dying them. It was so hard to keep him away from the dye. He kept ploping eggs down in the dye when we weren't watching and saying "Whaoooo!". But I think he is still a little young and MESSY for easter egg dying...but we tried. =)

{Ward Easter Party}
We had fun hanging out with all the little kids in our ward and doing an easter egg hunt. Mavrick liked running with all the kids more than he did finding the eggs and picking them up. We got some much needed vitamin D from the sun that day though. It was a perfect day to be outside.

I love this picture! =)

I only put this picture up cause you can kinda see my gut/belly.

He is seriously so handsome!

Mr. Liam all dirty and serious about the egg hunt. I can't get over how much he looks like Johnny. =)

{Bath Time w/ the Water Hose}
***Disclaimer: Any graphic nudity has been blotted out!
I just had to put these up cause they were so cute.

He still lets me hold him like this occasionally so we have to document.

{Picking Clover for Easter Nests}
Clover Nests. Probably the biggest tradition we have on Easter. My Dad did it, I did it growing up and so will Mav. I love it. =) Each year we go to my Grandpa's house and pick some clover. He always saves it for us and mows after Easter. Then we each have a Wal-mart bag and fill as much as we can with clover.

Ok...just had to put this picture up. This is the sign my Grandpa has in front of his garden bed. Haha. I guess he has had problems with people steeling his produce in the past. Haha. =) Ryan and I laughed pretty hard.

He is SOOOOOO tired but we got a few pictures anyway.

{Easter Bunny Gets Ready}
Usually we make our Easter nests the night before so the Easter bunny can fill them. But Mavrick was out of it last night and so were Mommy and Daddy. We decided we would just make it for him in the morning. Woke up at 8:00 and guess who threw away our clover that we picked from the night before?! RYAN! I almost cried. So he drove down to Mom and Dad and picked up extra clover that they had picked so that we could make Mavrick a nest. He felt pretty bad but REALLY!? Haha. =)

Behold...the Easter Nest! =)

Pre-Mavrick pictures. Ryan made this table and chairs but we did not have time to paint it before this morning. So that will have to wait but he did a pretty dang good job. I love that man. =)

The Easter Bunny brought art supplies for him to use at his little table this year. And a few other things. But ALL washable! I need to send a thank you card to the GENIUS who came up with that. So there are stickers, pipe cleaners, eater color paints, bladeless safety scissors, and mini markers. Grandma and Grandpa LeBaron sent some chalk, toy cars, and clothes that we through in there too.

{Easter Morning}

Did NOT want to wake up. He was so funny...looking at us like "Are you seriously waking me up for this?!"

The Whaoooo Face!

{Easter Egg Hunt}
Ryan had the genius idea to put peeps on a kabob stick to get him a little more excited about the Easter hunt. He had a blast!

He is so stinkin' cute!!!

{Play Time}
Just having fun with Daddy and his new table and art supplies before church.

My new favorite picture of him!

{Williamson Easter Party}
And the last of the festivities. FINALLY!

 The sidewalk chalk was a big hit with Mr. Liam!

 My Mom trying to harness Mavrick before the Egg Hunt.

 Ready. Set. Go!
