The Fire Department Museum

So this past week I have been trying to get out of the house with Mavrick more since the mosquitoes have been so bad and we can't play outside for too long. We went to the fire truck museum in downtown Beaumont. Its like the only museum we have around here. But Mavrick LOVED it! He was running from one thing to the other. Here are some fun pictures of our fun little adventure from this week.



They had old fire trucks everywhere and some of them you could get in a play on.





 I love this little boy. =) He looks like his Daddy more these days. 

They have a little play house for kids. It was pretty cute.
 
 So in another room we went to was where the fire people use to sleep and they had manicans laying on the bed. They scared me right when we walked in but Mav walked over to one of them and tried to wake him up. Haha. 









We are glad we found a place to take him that is free and I can just let him run around. We had a good time and maybe we will take some other friends with us next time. =)

    Wow, this brings me back to my elementary school days! I can't believe it looks the same 20 years later! I totally remember that house. I thought it was SO cool! I'm glad you are escaping the house before the heat comes!

    Yeah, those dummy's look creepy and I would have not liked them. Love you guys............I was just in Dallas for two weeks, Quinn & Kathi came up on the Saturday that I was there and we went to the temple. It was awesome but sure missed having Derwin by my side in there. Love you XOXO
